The French Beneteau Grand Trawler 62 (Trawler Series) represents a major evolution in the long-range cruising segment, blending the practicality of a trawler with the luxury and styling of a modern motor yacht. Launched in 2021 by Beneteau, one of the world’s oldest and most respected boatbuilders, the Grand Trawler 62 is the flagship of the Grand Trawler range and was developed in collaboration with naval architects MICAD and designer Nauta Design.
Measuring 62 feet (18.95 meters), this yacht is built for comfort, autonomy, and fuel efficiency, making it ideal for long passages and extended stays at sea. It features a full displacement hull optimized for slow cruising speeds, significantly reducing fuel consumption and increasing range. With twin MAN i6 730hp engines, it boasts a range of up to 1,000 nautical miles at 9 knots.
Inside, the Grand Trawler 62 is designed for social living and luxurious relaxation. It offers an expansive main deck with a fully equipped galley, open salon, and indoor helm station. Below deck, the yacht accommodates up to six guests in three staterooms, including a full-beam master suite with en-suite bathroom. Crew quarters are located separately for privacy and efficiency.
The flybridge is one of the largest in its class, featuring lounge areas, a helm station, and options for a bar and grill. It’s designed for open-air living and entertaining with panoramic sea views.
